Tri-State Wellness, in collaboration with WSU Asotin and Garfield County Gardeners, will be hosting their 4th Free Community Workshop – Eat Healthy, Be Active. Nutrition experts that focus on healthy meal planning, food preparation, and physical activity, will teach this class series. During each week’s lesson, Master Gardeners will be sharing their knowledge throughout the series. The Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion have developed the curriculum for this program.

“We are thrilled to continue offering this free healthy workshop to our community,” said Jen Scharffer, Director of Tri-State Wellness. “At Tri-State Wellness, we feel that it is important to focus on healthy lifestyles and disease prevention through the teaching of nutrition, meal planning, healthy cooking, physical activity, and gardening basics.
