Tri-State Memorial Hospital & Medical Campus will open its first Tri-State Convenient Care Clinic in October 2018 inside of Rosauers Supermarkets
Tri-State Memorial Hospital & Medical Campus will open its first Tri-State Convenient Care Clinic in October 2018 inside of Rosauers Supermarkets located at 332 Thain Road, Lewiston, Idaho. The clinic will be open seven days a week, and operating hours will align with Rosauers Pharmacy. This will be the first of several convenient care clinics that Tri-State Memorial Hospital plans to open in the LC Valley and surrounding areas.
“Tri-State is excited to announce this partnership with Rosauers,” said Don Wee, Chief Executive Officer at Tri-State Memorial Hospital & Medical Campus. “By partnering with another community leader, who also focuses on the importance of health, it allows us to mutually meet the needs of today’s changing healthcare consumer.”
The community will now have a fast, convenient, affordable alternative to receiving healthcare if they cannot get in to see their primary care provider. The Tri-State Convenient Care Clinic will provide same day service with no appointment necessary for non-life threatening injury and illness including sore throats, sinus infections, colds and flu, minor cuts and sprains, as well offer basic lab services, vaccinations, wellness exams, and sports physicals.
“You will see Tri-State Memorial Hospital expanding in the near future to increase access to healthcare in our community,” said David Jones, Chief Operating Officer at Tri-State Memorial Hospital & Medical Campus. David has over ten years’ experience implementing clinics in a number of franchises including Walmart, Hy-Vee and Price Chopper. “Tri-State’s mission is to place our patient’s health as the first priority and as our community wants healthcare that is easily accessible, the opening of our convenient care clinic allows us to do just that.”
Clinic services will be cash based and patients may personally submit a claim to their insurance. The convenient care clinic will have two exam rooms and be staffed by Nurse Practitioners. If someone is not currently established with a provider, the clinic also offers easy access for referrals to primary care providers at Tri-State Memorial Hospital & Medical Campus.
“Rosauers shares Tri-State’s commitment to helping our community live healthier lives, which made them a natural fit when looking for someone to partner with,” said Mike Shirts, Director of Operations at Rosauers Supermarkets. “We’re excited for what is to come through this partnership between Tri-State and Rosauers.”
In addition to the Tri-State Convenient Care Clinic, the Tri-State Clinical Nutrition Department will be offering a wellness program at Rosauers in Lewiston and Moscow. The program will be introduced in phases with the first phase beginning in September 2018 in Lewiston.
