Nutrition Therapy
Proper nutrition is an important part of everyone’s health.
Through physician referral and appointment, one of our Registered Dieticians will provide outpatient nutrition consultations. These consultations are used to assess whether your nutritional needs are being met, and, if necessary, to give suggestions for improvement.
Medical Nutrition Therapy will help you learn proper eating habits and lifestyle modifications. Our dietitians will help you set individual goals and give you guidelines to help you meet them.
Our dietitians counsel people on many topics, including:
- Weight Control
- Bariatric Surgery
- Eating Disorders
- Diabetes
- Renal Disease
- Cardiovascular Disease
- Celiac Disease
- Cirrhosis
- Crohn’s Disease
- Food Allergies
- Nutrition Support
- Disease Prevention
- Pediatrics: Infant/child feeding, failure to thrive
Tri-State’s dietitians also plan the menus and supervise the preparation of meals served to our patients during their stay, and to our visitors and employees.
